Beware of Singapore's killer dogs
I read in the paper today - the Straits Times -- about a man who punched a woman in the face because he was afraid her "vicious" dog was going to attack his wife and his little poodle.
The man - the report was quick to note - was a PR of European descent , and his victim - a singaorean chinese woman.
The man was fined $1000 .... which is more than reasonable - you dont go around punching people in the face -- especially not somewhere like singapore -- ... But the picture of the offending "killer dog" ws a picture of a golden retriever -- known to be among the most placid breed in canine existence!!
Please!!!! Retrievers wouldnt even know how to LOOK scary let alone attack a stranger in the street.
Sometimes we dont realise how safe singaporean society really is -- we start looking for things to be afraid of!
